Hong Kong Budding Poets (English) Award

This year, 21 students participated in the Hong Kong Academy Gifted Education’s Budding Poets competition. Our very own Edith Ho (5B) won the Silver Award for her poem, “Our Nature”. Her poem reflects on the beauty of nature and persuades us all of the need to protect it. “Let’s treasure our home before it’s too late, and make the Earth once more be great,” she writes. Using rhyme, rhythm, metre and other poetic devices, she manages to captivate the readers and also make them think deeply.
